The fabulousness that is Betsey Johnson presents her Spring '09 Collection tomorrow at the tents. Hopefully there will be some flipping and crazy blonde hair on the runway...you gotta love Betsey....however I hope that Hurricane Ike doesnt rain on her parade. She sets her own rules and struts to her own beat, loves her red lipstick and is always over the top! Since I dont have a golden ticket and I wont be in attendance...I cant wait to see what she presents. I love how she plays with colorful prints and pushes the bar on dresses, accessories, and shoes. Eventhough she is creeping up in age, Betsey has not lost her flair or spukiness. Here's her Fall 2008 Collection:

Me and My Designer Friends
And if you haven't noticed, all the designers that I love are my friends...well as Wendy Williams says "Friends in my head". So here on Sugar Cane Closet... I will always address them as my friends, because one day, I will be mixing and mingling with the fashion elite. My feet are ready for their Jimmy Choos honey and one day they will become one. As my friend Marva says, "you have to speak things into existence"... so I'm speaking Jimmy Choos into my life.
It will happen one day.
