So I just got the Italian Vogue, Black Issue...I know I'm a little slow on the uptake, but they were sold out dammit! I must say that it was worth the $15.98 that was spent on it, however it wasn't a total Black Issue, which in the words of Tim Gunn "concerns me". No I'm just kidding.
As I walked from the magazine store on Lexington, I couldn't help but be overwhelmed with the weight of the magazine and of course pride. This will definetely be a collectors item, a dont touch, dont drink near or around it and dont place anything on top of item...my future daughters need to see this. Because when will see another issue like this?
Those black models-Jourdan Dunn, Chanel Iman, Naomi, Tyra and Toccara (just to name a few) all killed it!! But can I say that there's a picture of Veronica Webb in this issue that has me a little perplexed...not feeling her look.
AND Toccara!! Toccara....better work!!! I wonder if Janice Dickinson is chokin on her words right now. In the words of another friend (in my head) Christian Siriano "FIIIIIIERRRCE!!" Thick girls need love on the runway and in the spreads too. She killed it.
If you have not picked up this issue, go get it.
